I’ve seen these Nissan Jukes driving before as I’ve driven down the highway — and I thought, ‘That’s a neat-styled vehicle and that’s probably a vehicle that I might consider.’ … I love it. I think that’s fantastic.
In pursuit of the finding great affordable cars, we visited Suburban Nissan of Troy to test drive the 2014 Nissan Juke. In this review video, we asked Doug to drive the Juke and give us his opinion of this oddly styled compact utility vehicle. While his sons weren’t enamored with the styling, Doug loved every quirk, curve and design cue that Juke had to offer. Wheels? Loved ‘em. Headlamps? Even better. Juke may be an acquired taste, and Doug was acquiring taste at every turn. He even says, “I could see myself driving to work in this.” Doug’s enthusiasm for Juke extends to the interior. He finds it comfortable, spacious enough (at least for passengers; cargo space was not as generous) and worthy of a daily commuter. This left us thinking, “Is the Nissan Juke actually a cool dad car?” The answer: definitely maybe!
Bottom line: Doug loved the Juke. If you’re looking for an affordable car with comfort, technology and eye-catching style, the Nissan Juke might just be for you. I guess the Juke is the new hip dad car.
